My niece Krista Armstrong had a chance to fish with her Dad,  Gord  on the Bay of Quinte this past weekend and really showed her Dad off by catching the nicest walleye.   Well done Krista!!!  Krista is thirteen and as her Dad says, “I taught her well….”.  That figures since Gord has been fishing the Bay of Quinte around Telegraph Narrows most of his life.   If you are planning on heading down to the Bay keep in mind that the trophy walleye (8-12 lb.), are easiest to catch at night either trolling or casting with a Rapala Husky Jerk.  Fishing in and around current areas such as near the mouth of the Trent, Moira, and Napanee Rivers can be very productive (even casting from shore).
