Bay of Quinte, ON pre-fishing for bass & walleye.
Posted on August 26th, 2014Just finished pre-fishing for a few hours on the Bay of Quinte with Jeremy Cosco who lives in Frankford, ON and is the Pastor of the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Trenton, ON.
We had rough water conditions but still managed to catch a nice mix of trophy largemouth bass and walleye on Rapala Tail Dancers #9 fished with Rapala Shift spinning & baitcasting outfits loaded with Sufix 832, 20 lb. test braid and 20 lb. Sufix Fluorocarbon leaders.
It was tough to control the boat and the Minn Kota Terrova with the “electronic anchor” feature really saved our day allowing us to fish our crankbaits around key weedlines. I’m looking forward to catching lot’s of both over the next two days!and walleye on Rapala Tail Dancers #9. I’m looking forward to catching lot’s of both over the next two days!
