B.C. Tributary Update.
Posted on July 30th, 2009Tracey John Hittel reports. The fish are still coming in and the clients are getting some excellent catches. Picture 1 is our greenhouse owner from Drayton Valley Alberta with a fine Kitimat Chinook. His partner is picture 2 and he is holding a Chum Salmon. The Kitimat River is receiving a very good run of Chum this summer and these brutes are a must on the fly. The challenge is to land them as they are a excellent gamefish. Picture 3 is our friend from Switzerland who landed this Kitimat beauty. His name is Cobra and we talked with a english/Swiss dictionary during our fishing days together to communicate. We are also fishing the Skeena right now and the Chinook fishing is primetime with many fresh fish in the system. Picture 4 is Richard holding a fresh Skeena female and our final picture is of Cobra holding a chrome Skeena Chinook.
Water levels are perfect and the weather is forecasted to be very hot the next week or so.
