B.C. Coastal & Tributary Report.

Posted on September 1st, 2009

tracey_john_hittel_graphicJohn Tracey Hittel reports. The Coho are in and the rods are bent as our Saltwater Salmon and Halibut trips out of Kitimat are bringing in limit catches.

Attached are 2 groups with a nice Saltwater catch of Coho.  Our micro-stream fly fishing into remote rivers are also producing large numbers of catches for the guided anglers.  Also attached are a few of the monsters we landed while fishing the Nass River, these Chinooks are chrome bars and fighting them in slow moving water is a real treat.

All river systems lately have been on the rise as the rain has pounded down the past 2 days. This will push in the Steelhead and Coho from the Saltwater and into the tributaries for the September run of summer Steelhead.

Space is still available until October 15th so let us customize a fall opportunity for you and your group of angler.
