Apsley, ON – Largemouth Bass report.

I was up in Apsley, ON again yesterday fishing from shore, at the creek / marsh on Hwy. 504, 1.5 km east of Apsley. I hooked and landed four largemouth, one fair size and other three smaller. I was using a large ‘r’ bend spinner bait tied directly to 10 lbs. test Suffix Elite line. The Suffix Elite line and ‘r’ bend spinner bait worked excellent going through and over the thick weed and lilly pad cover.
The three small bass were caught on 8 lbs. test Suffix Elite line and a small, orange spinner bait.
