Aaron White question: “Hi italo how are you?  We are doing a men’s fishing trip with our church to lake Agnew in Webwood, ON. I’m wondering if you have any topographical maps or info on the lake where the sweet spots are.”

Italo response: Hi Aaron, as far as I know, Agnew Lake has good pike, walleye & bass fishing and also some perch, bullhead catfish & rock bass. I have not fished the lake, but you can see the depth & a description if you go to, http://www.web2.mnr.gov.on.ca/fish_online/fishing/fishingExplorer_en.html . I have a feeling that if you cast 3/8 oz. white spinnerbaits around any weeds, shorelines you will have a good chance to catch both pike & bass. For the walleye you may want to try trolling off the shorelines and using a Rapala Shad Rap #7 with about a 100′ of line out. Hope you have a great time…God bless you, Italo

Aaron White response: “Lake Agnew. jigging with Worms and leeches in 14ft of water. Best time of day was between 11am and 2pm. My 18in pickerel was the biggest caught all weekend – so I won the tournament.”
