Hi Rad, Chartreuse, fluorescent orange & pink are a good colors to fish in stained water since they don’t fade in color. Black is also good since black is the lack of color and it makes a great silhouette that fish can spot even in murky water.
God bless you,
Italo

Hi Jim, in my opinion the Maui Jim fishing sunglasses are one of the best to wear for fishing. I really like them because they are lightweight, durable, they don’t distort natural colors and they are highly polarized. Check out their fishing line, https://www.mauijim.com/CA/en_GB/polarized-sunglasses/fishing

Hi Norman, thank you for expressing your concern regarding releasing lamprey back into the water. In our case that lamprey was crushed by the pliers and hopefully it was only food for other creatures to consume….God bless you.

Hi John, thank you for your kind words and glad you are enjoying the videos we post. We flew to Nova Scotia and used two soft, insulated bags which we had as carry-ons on our flight back. The bags were similar to this one you can get at Canadian Tire, https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/outbound-soft-cooler-16-can-capacity-medium-assorted-colour-0853711p.html?loc=plp . We had about 15 lbs of clean, cored and frozen fish in each back (packed the fish in smaller 2lb bags as cooking portions). Because all the fish were frozen when we packed them in the cooler bags they stayed frozen until we returned home…God bless you.

Hi Lorena, Thank you for your invite but unfortunately the Yukon is far from where we are in Ontario. I have had the privilege of fishing at Kluane Wilderness Lodge on Wellesley Lake and I have also fished a few other rivers there. The fishing and scenery was amazing. Wishing you and your boyfriend a wonderful fishing season…God bless you.
Make sure to check the fishing videos on our Italo Labignan YouTube channel and if you have any questions just email them to me at Ask Italo throughout our www.canadian-sportfishing.com website.
