We have been having a great time spending the month of April saltwater fishing in southwest Florida. While many saltwater anglers have had travel up to 30 miles off-shore to catch good size Grouper, we have found several locations in the 20-mile ranges that have been producing good size fish.
David Shepherd above shows-off his first keeper Grouper he caught while fishing a large chunk of cut-bait along the bottom in 70′ water. David was using the Rapala RSC Speed Jigging rod matched with the Rapala R-Type Heavy Duty spinning reel. Not only did the fish give David an excellent fight, it was a tasty treat for dinner!
