Hi Italo,I watched one of your many episodes called “Fishing for walleye & pike, Bay of Quinte, Trenton, ON. Part 4 of 4” and towards the end of the video you caught a nice walleye at night. Would you mind sharing the location you were fishing? I don’t have a boat so the majority of my fishing is done on shore.Thanks,-Dan-Posted on May 4th, 2017
Hi Dan, we caught a couple of walleye that evening. One was caught casting from shore at the mouth of the Trent River, Trenton, ON. The other was caught in the Salmon River, Shannonville, ON. My top lures to use at night reeled in slow just below the surface are the Rapala Husky Jerk and Jointed Rapala. Walleye in the Bay of Quinte migrated to moving water areas both in the summer and in the fall. During the rest of the year they are either feeding in Lake Ontario or the Upper and Lower Bay of Quinte.
