Our friend Michael Jordan Colton is continuing to take advantage of above-zero temperatures and fishing open-water on the Niagara River, ON.
He has been landing a mix of trout and walleye. While most anglers are ice-fishing, the open-water fishing on the river as been good. I also spoke to Frank Campbell who guides out of Lewiston, NY and he also reports the fishing has been good on the American side for mixed fish species. Isn’t it amazing that you can ice fish one day or open water fish the next right here in southern Ontario!
