In this day of egos, greed and unimaginable salary demands in many professional sports, the athletes on Lumberjacks receive comparatively little recognition for their efforts. These activities test all natural athletic abilities, strength, perseverance and resilience.

Lumberjacks is about a sport that is truly distinctive. It offers a historical and cultural look into this Canadian tradition and the people who live it. Focusing primarily on the action, the Series also covers the human element of the sport and brings the viewers right into the game.

The Series follows athletes from across North America as they compete their way to the ultimate prize, Lumberjack of the Day.
