Here’s a human interest post. I met Pason Banjongpanith back in 2002 fishing at port Dalhousie for brown trout. At the time we featured Pason’s brown in one of my blogs (you can see Barb with a very gold colored sucker on the same page).
Pasan continues to enjoy watching our shows whenever he can. He does not get to fish as often as he would like but wanted to share a fishing day he’ll never forget. Two summers ago, he was fishing of the north shore of Rice lake with a Carolina rigged plastic worm when he hooked this trophy smallmouth. He did not have a scale to weigh the fish but it measure just short of of 23 inches…that’s a true trophy!
