I have been getting reports that the Chinook Salmon fishing has been very good on Lake Ontario when anglers have been able to get out inbetween strong winds and rain.
Capt. Aldo Nava of www.niagarafishingadventures.com , sent us these images of silver Kings he has been catching on every outing out of Port Dalhousie, ON.
It’s always nice to see the female anglers catching fish. This is Carolynn (Aldo’s wife), holding up a chunky salmon.
Age does not matter. As long as you have sea-legs and the strength to reel in these strong fish you can get out and enjoy a charter!
Aldo has been catching his fish trolling downriggers in 50-90′ water using a combination of spoons, cut-bait and flasher flies. With the rain gone for a while it may be a good time to head out this coming weekend and hook some!
