My wife Barb landed a nice 27” pike on the 6 lb. test. Sufix fluorocarbon leader we were using for walleye and we also landed many walleye of which several were between 19”-23”.
We fished the drop-shot rigs on our lightweight Rapala Walleye Team series rod equipped with Rapala spinning and baitcasting reels and loaded again with Sufix 6 & 10 lb. test braided line & fluorocarbon leaders.
Mulligan is having as much fun as we are and really enjoying the fresh air, fishing and especially the fresh walleye shorelunch!!
Our portable Humminbird 570 sonar really helped us locate subtle breaks where we consistently caught walleye.
